Pet stains removal calgary

We have three different treatment methods for pet odors on wall-to-wall carpeting:

1. Minor Odor Treatment- We use top-quality deodorizers that are safe for you as well as your pets to spray every single urine spot before cleaning it in order to absorb and kill the urine bacteria that is gathered. Even though it will reduce the odor, it is not designed to eliminate severe odors since only the surface of the carpet will be treated. If you are able to smell an odor as soon as you walk into a room, it is not considered a minor, surface-level odor. Minor orders are smelled only on humid days and if you are kneeling down on the carpet.

2. Moderate Odor Treatment- This is basically a water claw sub surface extraction. This process consists of saturating the spots with our premium oxidation deodorizer so that our cleaning agent will reach down into the padding. The water claw sub surface extractor is then used to pull out the urine completely, which will significantly reduce the odor. However, there is still a possibility that it will not cure major problems that are highly severe. You should be extremely cautious with this treatment option if you have wood underneath your carpet.
3. Major Odor Treatment-This high-end treatment option is designed to eliminate the odor completely and is mostly used by our customers that no longer have any pets living within their homes. After the carpet is pulled up and the padding is disposed of completely, both sides are cleaned with oxidizing agents and enzymes that will neutralize all traces of the urine. The backing of the carpet, sub-floor and baseboards are then treated with a special odor barrier that will totally correct your urine problem. This procedure starts at $300 and goes on up from there, based on your specific needs.

NOTE: We will usually use minor and moderate odor treatments in most cases, even when treating the more severely stained and odorous areas.

FAQs about Pet Odor

Are you able to remove pet urine stains on upholstery and carpets? Our success rate ranges between 80 and 90%, but that success depends greatly on how long the stain has been there. Permanent damage can be caused to textiles by pet urine which is also known for creating an unhealthy aroma and indoor odor if it not addressed and resolved in a timely fashion. It is easier to remove urine from a carpet when it is still fresh because it is neutral. However, it turns into alkaline after it has dried, creating an ammonia order and becoming hard to eliminate. After it is left unattended for months, it can alter the fabric’s dye structure and lead to deterioration. In order to prevent this from happening, you need to have those deposits cleaned immediately. For an additional charge, though, you may still be able to dye any spots of permanent damage.

What can you do to eliminate urine odor? To treat urine odors, we use professional grade deodorizers and enzymes, but there is an additional charge that is billed for each quart. We can pinpoint the location of the deposits with our specialized urine detector and then spray enzymes into the affected areas only. That will break down and absorb the urine bacteria. Even though we do have a high success rate for removing these odors, they can actually be permanent.

What can be done for urine odors that are severe? The padding that is underneath of your carpet will have to be replaced and the flooring underneath it should be treated. The face fibers are also treated with enzymes and then, after a sufficient amount of time has passed, the enzymes are then extracted. It actually may cost less just to replace all of the carpeting in the room if the majority of your carpet is stained with urine. This procedure is only recommended if you no longer have pets in your home.

Can you remove vomit from my carpeting? Yes, usually. If you have already applied some sort of ineffective spot removal solution before your appointment, though, it can be very difficult for us to be successful. Remember that the same red dye that is found in Kool-Aid is also found in certain cat foods, which can permanently stain nylon carpets. For an additional charge, though, we can use our red dye removal system to resolve these issues as well.

What can be done to treat recurring urine spots and odors? Our urine treatment is designed to determine the exact locations of the spots and then the area is flooded with a specially mixed deodorizer. After that has had time to dwell in the affected area, our water claw spot lifter will directly pull the urine out of the padding, which eliminates almost all urine problems.

Is there a 100% guarantee for pet odors? There is no way that this service can be guaranteed, because the odor may have affected more than just the carpet – including the underlay, wood or cement that is underneath your carpet. You can also have it on your walls, baseboards and even drapes and one single cleaning may not be enough to completely resolve pet odors; multiple trips may be required.
